Vegas Baby!

For Christmas Troy got us tickets to see George Strait in Vegas for his farewell tour "The Cowboy Rides Away".  We have needed a little weeken get away so this was perfect! We stayed at our Worldmark Condo, ate at the Claim Jumper - our favorite steakhouse, did a session at the Vegas temple, and met up with Nick, Paige, Gus, and Gina for some Cheesecake factory Thai lettuce wraps.  The concert was awesome! Martina Mcbride opened and George was, as usual, simply AMAZING! Sunday morning we did a little shopping, and rode the New York New York rollercoaster and headed home.  I can also cross off my bucket list of having a Dunkin Donut!
We got home later than expected, and my mom didn't want to drive home in the dark, so I drove my mom home, and Troy and the kids followed behind.  We stopped in Cedar for some KFC, took it to Beaver and watched the second half of the Superbowl with my dad.

The only pic we got before Troy's phone died.  The Marshall's were just a few sections over from us

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2013

We had a pretty low key night, we ate at the Pizza Factory, came home to play games, watched the ball drop and went outside to make our own joyful noises.  We made a fun New Year's drink with cotton candy and Sprite, can we say 'sugar rush' for sure!

Toy Story Yatzee is one of our favorite games

Braxton getting all geared up for a little ride on the zip line with Mom, Dad, and our Mcfadden cousins

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KASON!

Happy Happy Birthday Kasonater! This last year has flown by so fast and here you are 2 already! Maybe it's because you are such a little guy, and I still think of you being about 18 months, or maybe its because you are now finally wearing 12 month clothes...anyway, you certainly hold your own and we love you so much.  You add so much to our family and your personality is deffinately your own.  You have become so silly and such a ham, that we are constantly laughing...whether you are bowling, playing with trains, body slamming your siblings, clunking your head on the floor while pouting, helping mom put on her makeup, walking around in mom's boots, playing ball, or shouting "hooray" and performing while we sing 'If your happy'.  I'm so excited to watch you grow as well as your personality.  We love you so much and can't even imagine life without you!

Here's what you are up to these days.....
~4th percentile for weight, 22 lbs
~12 month clothes, as long as the pants are elastic waistband so they will stay up!
~Your vocabulary has exploded the past few months! you are learning your colors and you do get them right a lot of times
~You say "hello Mama/Daddy" when we get you out of your crib in the morning
~Dad swears you are a Brit, you say 'daddy' with a hint of an english accent
~You are a biter, and are the cause of many incident reports in your daycare class.  Mom and dad had never signed an incident report that their children had caused until you discovered your teeth!
~The only foods you will eat: ckn nuggets, hot dogs, cereal bars, gogurt, jello, pesto chicken on a good day, taco meat, all fruit, most crackers, bran muffins,  and every dessert ever tried! If it ain't listed, you ain't touchin it!  When I told Braxton that for your birthday dinner we were having what Kason likes, he dramatically exclaimed we were gonna starve!
~We just switched you back to cow's milk from soy.  We wondered if regular milk was causing some digestive issues and after 10 months of soy it's time to go back and you've done really well! we still mix it with Carnation Instant Breakfast for the extra calories
~You seem to love all sports and already seem very naturally athletic.  I wonder if you might become the youngest member of the PBA! You love our little bowling set and had mom and Braxton laughing to tears the other night with your mad bowling skills and awesome form!
~You love to be rocked before bed, and mom and dad don't mind a bit :)
~You have a very strong personality, I can't wait to see you in about 10 years!
~You prance when you run - we call you 'prancer'
~You love Mickey Mouse and the little Einsteins
~You went on all the rides you could at Disneyland last Sept and loved them all
~You are the best pouter EVER! so dramatic.  You are going to have permanent brain damage from all the head bonking!
~You sing the Winnie the Pooh song with us when we change your diapers.."up, down, touch the ground......"
~You hate your car seat
~You have learned to do front rolls by watching Tanner and Camrie at Gymnastics,  sometimes you get stuck trying to kick your feet over and you always say "almost".  You keep trying until you finally get yourself over
~The second you get in your car seat off go your shoes and socks
~You love getting dumbdumb suckers from Uncle Brent at his Pharmacy
~I could go on and on~ :)

~~~~HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUD!~~~~
MERRY CHRISTMAS!! 2012
MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE WEBB FAMILY!
We had a fun and busy month! we saw Santa at Tanner's Christmas program at Country Kids Daycare and for the 1st time in 3 years, Camrie was the bravest girl ever to visit with Santa for a few minutes, it may have taken a bag of candy, but whatever works! Kason LOVES Santa, and jumped right to him! We had a fun ward Christmas breakfast, and the InstaCare party totally rocked to the band 'I-15' in the lobby - that was the single most fun party we have ever been to, and our kids may think we are a bit crazy, but they had just as much fun dancing too!  We spent a fun evening with our neighbors the Farley's out to Tuacahn to watch the live nativity and then had yummy donuts and crock pot hot choc (sooo good!)  We loved riding around to see all the beautiful lights, and doing all our fun Christmas Eve traditions. This year we tried to sing a Christmas carol or hymn everynight before bed.
Santa was good to us and the kids were so excited to see that he brought what they asked for.  Except Camrie is very concered about where her scooter is that Santa forgot - she says he must not read that part of her letter.... :)
More than anything we love the spirit that is felt in our home this time of year and the constant reminders of our Saviors birth.  We are so blessed to have the things we do and especially our wonderful friends and family that surround us! We love you all!
Braxton trying out his new grind machine yoyo.  He spent 6 days, including Christmas with his dad and granparents.  He got a new BB gun from his dad and is already a pretty good shot!  He came home last night and got to open his presents - I've missed him so much and couldn't wait for him to get home!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
I love, love, love, December! I love everything about it! The shopping, the secret gifting of those in need, yummy treats,  10 nights of staying up all night watching or going down to the National Finals Rodeo in Vegas, the lights, smells, and sounds of Christmas, and so many fun traditions that keep us busy all month long.  We had FHE on Sunday, but decided last night was perfect to go walk around the temple and listen to the Nativity.  We are so blessed to live so close to the temple and enjoy the spirit we feel there.
Our kids know this as "the bench".  This very bench that made these cute little kids possible, is where I answered "YES!"
Happy Thanksgiving 2012
 Since this Thanksgiving was my holiday to be on call, and work the weekend we weren't planning on going anywhere for dinner so I was very happy and excited when I heard my family was all coming to St. George! YAY! I was able to arrange a few hours off with my co-worker who I was splitting the day with so I could eat and spend some time with my family and it worked out great! We ate at my sister's house, let the kids decorate their gingerbread houses that my mom bakes and assembles every year, and had just enough time to run up to a cousin's house to have pie and visit with them and their family before the ER beckoned me back. I am truly thankful for this time of year for all the blessings me and my family enjoy. We have so much and so much to be grateful for. Here's a little peek at some of our fun...
Kason entertaining us! He'd put a little ball up his pant leg and was trying to figure out how to get it out.  At one point in time he had his head on the floor with one leg in the air trying with all his might! Thanks Carson for stepping in to lend a hand!
Cute little napkin holders
Gingerbread houses
My mom makes the best gingerbread! She makes bigger houses for the older kids and the younger ones get graham cracker houses to decorate.  And of course she brought down the 'scraps' of gingerbread from cutting out all the shapes, so we could snack on them...who needs pie right?
Camrie working on her house
Braxton and Tanner's house.  Tanner was so excited to get graduate up to a real house and not a graham cracker one!
The finish products.  So much fun!
Camrie was so proud of her head band that she made in her Dragonfly class at school
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 2012
The kids and our pumpkin! Camrie loved scooping out all the guts! I especially love my chalked up porch!!
We always look forward to the DRMC daycare carnival every year! The kids love to see their teachers dressed up too!
Trunk or treat! Braxton's face was painted by the husband of a home health patient of Troy's.  He did a great job and even made his a little nose.
For breakfast Halloween morning I made these cute little cinnamon roll bats, they were tasty and the kids loved them!
We had our annual Halloween dinner a few nights before Halloween and invited our niece Renae over.  This year we had mummy dogs, frog eyes, scrambled brains, and witch's brew.  Lots of fun!
