If you live in Dixie, you know that roaches aren't the only things out at night in the summertime....that's when people actually venture outside and the parks come alive! Yesterday it hit 100 and by 8:00pm it was nice enough  for some baseball with our fun neighbors the Farley's.  We headed over to Sunset Elem to play and were the only ones there, but by 9:00 the walking track, playground, and grass area was full of people! No wonder my kids can barely pull themselves out of bed in our early mornings when we play outside in the summer until 10 pm everynight!

Kason loved playing baseball, when he thought it should be his turn, he'd put on Braxton's helmet, grab his bat, get ready at the plate, and yell "Kason's turn!"

I've never laughed so hard at Kason! he was so serious and totally in the 'zone'

Camrie up to bat

This little girl can't wait to turn 5 so she can play ball too!

A Day off in Beaver

Summer time in St. George has arrived!

Playing Pivot Pool at Grandma Smith's. Everytime a ball would go in the pocket, Kason would raise his arms up and yell, "I WON!"

The things we find at Grandma's house...Check out the box ....Circa 1972!

Riding bikes up to the park.  Macho man Kason on Camrie's Barbie bike

Too bad the swimming pool park , (now called 'pioneer park') wasn't this fun when I was a kid...I even climbed up on the monkey bars and showed Tanner how to hang upside down.  Yeah, this mom's still got it goin on!

The best view ever!

Kason was so tired after a fun day in Beaver! I had to add this picture of him sleeping in his pillow case like a little snail! It totally fits his personality!  So funny :)

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY CAMRIE!!

Camrie turned 4 last Monday, she's been counting down for a month! I've seriously contemplating celebrating her birthday every morning if it means she will get out of bed and get dressed as fast as she did that morning!!  We had our traditional birthday cake pancakes and opened presents before school.  This has been the craziest, busiest week for everyone in our family so a little birthday party with just our family turned out to be perfect this year! Braxton and Tanner both had baseball games on her birthday and Camrie was so excited about it! She chose to have her birthday dinner at Golden Corral after Tanner's game, and she loved having the servers sing to her and bring a little desert just for her.

Make a wish!

'Stuffy' the dragon from her favorite show, Doc McStuffins

Gma and Gpa Smith gave her a special doll from their China trip

She was the birthday queen all day at school and loved taking cookies to share.  She decorated her birthday crown and proudly wore it all day!

We love you so much Camrie and can't imagine life without you.  You have a special sparkle in your eye and a personality like none other. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our little princess girl!

ITS FINALLY FINISHED!!!!

We started our master bathroom project the middle of March and as of 2 days ago, it's totally complete!  We hired Travis Robinson to tile the shower and tub backsplash, which looks amazing! The 'mini swimming pool' tub had to be ordered and reordered, along with the rough in valves, but it all fit perfectly and we love it!  We had a few visits from the plumber due to a shut off valve that needed to be replaced, and luckily not any major water issues.  Getting the shower glass here and installed has been a 5 week nightmare and we've learned maybe it's worth it to pay a bit more for quicker, more professional service..... Anyway, we are happy to be finished and the kids are happy to not have to share their bathroom with Mom and Dad!!

Kason sweeping the floor.  He would walk into the bathroom and say so cute with a frumpy face..."tub go?" "Daddy....TROUBLE!" -and then smile "Travis fix it!"

The tub sat in our bedroom for a week or so waiting for the tile to be finished,

The tub is in! (it went in, it came out...at least 8 times!)

YAY! it's functional!!!

The old...and we thought that tub was big!

We think it's getting to be that time again..... he's been talking about the potty a lot lately.  Hopefully he'll be easy!

My pretty Mother's Day flowers...I was spoiled again! Lots of cute cards, little potted flowers, dishes, toaster, and lots of love! Thanks to my great husband and kids! I love you all.

Braxton and I spent Saturday painting my bedroom.  He loved being up on the ladder and on top of our closets taping and painting.  He did a great job.
Kason yelled, "Mom!" this is what I saw when I turned around....Never a dull moment with this kid!

I've never laughed so hard, and I only got a portion of it!

The Gentle Giant

"Mercy," that's about all Don Williams says after he sings one of his songs, but his smooth voice is one I could listen to all night! We love his concerts and was glad Don made it back after having to cancel his concert last October due to sickness.  Can't wait for the next one!
